The design brief from Elite Creature Collectibles was to create a base based on the third act of the film where the bride fights the Crazy 88's in the nightclub. I create a floor diorama vignette that matched the dance floor and sampled the patterns of the paper walls to embed on the inside. I also added blood patterns the outside walls that would be lit from behind. There also sword slashes throughout the wood.
After the design was approved, I built out the base in zbrush making sure to adhere the 3D printer max volumes for assembly and providing the necessary space for internal LED wiring.
